Transmitter Receiver Radio 5H25-99-925-G482
  Transmitter Receiver Radio 5H25-99-925-G482
Radio UHF transmitter / receiver to be used by aircraft crews from crashed allied aircraft. The radio had both the opportunity to act as a beacon and communication from ground to aircraft that would evacuate personnel. Beacon sends out a signal that could be checked in and the geographical position of the crashed could then be determined.
The radio had built-in battery, and a folded blade antenna that can be seen in the top of the unit to the right.
